About Provenance Tree
Hi, my name is Brian Crowe, CEO of Provenance Tree. As a collector and dealer of gallery‑grade antiques, art, and collectibles, I realized that my family didn’t share the same level of interest in these items. As our family collection grew, so did the questions from my wife and adult children. If something happens to you, how will we know what the items are worth, and where the provenance and documentation for each piece can be found?
Those questions weren’t limited to my home life. As an antique collector and dealer, I heard the same concerns in public as well. At countless auctions and estate sales, people repeatedly asked: Does the item have any history? Is there provenance or a COA?
That got me wondering why no provenance‑sourcing solution existed for collectors, families, or customers. Then AI emerged, and it became clear that provenance and ownership rights would soon be under pressure, while digital assets related to artworks owned by collectors and dealers would need protection. That’s when I decided to start Provenance Tree.

As Provenance Tree expands, ownership rights and provenance will also be integrated into decentralized platforms built on Ethereum, giving your items a history and protections that can endure for millennia. This is made possible through new technology and deep expertise in the fields of art, antiques, and collectibles.
Each item registered with Provenance Tree will receive a kit that includes an information chip, allowing the physical item to be integrated into the digital ecosystem. We at Provenance Tree are excited to bring this platform to the world.
